Construction Features

imagINwood offers cabinetry with solid-wood face-frame construction; we believe that it best maintains the structural integrity of the case. The veneers used on our finished ends and on our flat panel doors are of the highest grade.

Our casework is constructed with 3/4” thick veneered plywood, using time-tested joinery techniques such as dados, mortise and tenon, pocket screws, and high-quality glue. The interiors of our cabinetry are 3/4” thick birch veneered plywood, with all interior shelves being adjustable.

We offer a range of choices in drawer boxes, including solid maple boxes with dovetailed joints or 1/2” Baltic birch plywood boxes with butt joints. Using only industry-leading, top-of-the-line hardware, our doors and drawers are adjustable to maintain precise alignment throughout the life of the cabinetry.

Constantly hearing how installer-friendly our product is, we strive to maintain that reputation by building runs of cabinetry in as few pieces as possible. This makes for easier, more accurate installation, and also adds to the structural integrity of the cabinet as a whole.
